Multinational cooperation

Northeast Asia Standards Cooperation Forum

Objectives


This forum aims to contribute to further development of standardization activities in Asia by advancing tripartite cooperation in standardization activities among China, Korea and Japan and by working together to enhance the basis for international standardization, to develop common standards, to propose new work items to ISO and to promote standards.


Structure


Individual national standard bodies of the three nations function as contact points (secretariats) to coordinate each other to operate and organize tripartite meetings, seeking cooperation and participation from related government agencies and industries.
